The episode focuses on the story of Ruby—a carefree draenei with eyes of unusual color—during one of the visits to her grandmother. Prepared for another regular family meeting, Ruby quickly discovers that her little trip can become a lot more extraordinary after she meets a mysterious person in death knight attire bleeding in the forest and finds out that the village she lives in has become a target of worgen attacks.
